Evaluating the integrals of trigonometric functions is really no different than evaluating any other kind of integral. The best thing you can do to make the process easier is to memorize the integrals and derivatives of each of the six trigonometric identities. The integrals are pictured in the table below.

Oftentimes you’ll end up using u-substitution and/or integration by parts to solve a trigonometric integral. Use these techniques, and always simplify algebraically as much as possible, before using the trigonometric integral formulas in the table to evaluate these integrals.
